As we head into November, I thought it would be good to share the October numbers for the Indianapolis housing market. This is good information to have in the event you are considering selling or buying a home. The median sales price in October was $191,150. It was $175,000 a year ago which means it is up 9.2%. Inventory is up 5% from September with new listings at 3608 homes. That is an increase of 2.1% from last year at this time. That is no surprise given the current market conditions. We are also seeing that the number of days a house remains on the market is 43 days which is down 10% year over year.
